THP-Plus Institute
The THP-Plus Implementation Project is sponsored by the John Burton Foundation for Children, the California Department of Social Services and the Corporation for Supportive Housing. By the date of the 2010 THP-Plus Institute, AB 12 had been signed into law, carrying great implications for THP-Plus Providers and stakeholders. The 12 workshops of the 2010 THP-Plus Institute covered an array of practice and policy issues, rounded out with a strong focus on what AB 12 means for THP-Plus Providers, county representatives and stakeholders. To top off the day, special guest Dr. Mark Courtney, the recipient of the John Burton Foundation Leadership Award, presented the most recent set of findings from the Midwest Evaluation of the Adult Functioning of Former Foster Youth.
